Gods. Beasts. Tribes. Blood is the only language they all understand.
The Valley of Aurk is a primordial land where the world still smells of recent creation and the blood of the gods stains the stones. Here, small tribes are born, thrive, and disappear under skies that the gods traverse in person. In this era without writing or codified laws, survival is written with flesh and bone: those who do not hunt die of hunger; those who do not forge alliances die by the spear of a rival; those who do not listen to their shamans die forgotten by the gods. Three great deities define the soul of the Valley: Aurk'ea, goddess of Knowledge, who engraved the secrets of creation in the sacred stone and demands from her devotees the same wisdom she grants; Tikbal, goddess of War, who proved her supremacy over the fiercest beasts and pours her favor only on those who triumph in combat; and Cuksee, god of Nature, who forgave the rebellious wolf and teaches that exchange and mercy are different forms of the same force. But the Valley holds wounds older than any tribe. In the shadows of the swamps, the dead of Sa'mdi walk at night. In the northern caves, something that predates the gods themselves lurks with a single eye. In the heart of the forest, a tree remembers what the world was like before mortals arrived. Whoever understands these mysteries can guide their people toward legend. Whoever ignores them will become just another of the bones that fertilize the land of the Valley.
