An AI Game Master that rolls the dice for real, and the people who build it.
LoreKeeper is a virtual tabletop platform where the Game Master is an AI. You create a character, pick or build a world, and play a campaign that keeps its own state: non-player characters remember what you did, factions react, injuries persist and the map changes between sessions.
The mechanics are resolved, not narrated. Attacks roll against armour class, damage subtracts hit points, spells consume slots, conditions apply their real effects and initiative decides turn order. The AI writes the fiction around the result of the dice; it does not decide the result of the dice.
A campaign runs in rounds. Each round you describe what your character does, and the AI Game Master resolves it against the rules and the world state before answering.
It is not a general-purpose chatbot with a fantasy prompt. It is not a replacement for a good human Game Master, and it does not claim to be one — a human reads the table and improvises in ways no model matches today.
It is also not a writing tool. If you want prose with no game state behind it, a general assistant will serve you better. LoreKeeper exists for the case where the rules and the continuity are the point.
LoreKeeper is an independent product, founded in 2024 by Eric Torres Perramon and built from Barcelona, Spain. There are no ads on the platform, and the privacy policy commits to not selling personal information to third parties.
Development happens in public: the roadmap is open, every item can be voted on by players, and shipped features are listed with the release that carried them.
There is a permanent free tier of 20 AI turns per day, with no payment details required to start. Paid plans begin at EUR 7.99 per month and raise the turn allowance, image generation and the number of concurrent campaigns.
Public data — worlds, leaderboard, badges, roadmap and platform stats — is readable without an account through a documented API and an MCP server, so an AI assistant can answer questions about LoreKeeper without signing anyone up.
